Market Spam Prevention for Front Page Carousel

Serapheminine
As of late, I have noticed instances of creators mass uploading dozens of products to the Jinxxy website, causing the front page to be nothing but their content. Having multiple of your recently uploaded products line the front page isn't inherently an issue, but it should be limited to 1 or 2 at a time, since some creators specifically choose a higher rate of supporting Jinxxy in order to gain that extra promotion, only to have their presence rendered nonexistent in that aspect if someone else decides to dump a bunch of assets on to the site.

I mean the front page being limited to just one item per person would be the best way to go about this?

CrunchyFrajs
mura Yup!

Yeah this is a legitimate issue.
I would hate to have been working on an avatar for maybe a year and a few minutes after release your spot gets instantly removed by a spam of other assets.
This picture shows a good scenario from today where almost every single spot on the "carousel" got taken by the same person
(no dislike towards them ofc, its just a good example)

CrunchyFrajs this is me! I am so sorry for the inconvenience but I just moved all my assets from Gumroad to Jinxxy manually… I’m so so sorry about this again… I did not mean for this to happen nor did I know this would happen-

Dinzee_1 You're all good, the whole situation was honestly just a nice demonstration of why this topic is a relevant issue.
Especially these days as a lot of influx from other places like gumroad happens frequently.
I am not against people getting an advertised spot by being supporter of the platform, but its not fair for others if one person can "take over" the entire front page.
But people should of course be allowed to post products as they want so the frontpage carousel spots should mostly just be limited to 1 pr user at a time.

CrunchyFrajs agreed! As long as the “I can post as much as I want in one day” still stands imo. Just front page limiting for that type of situation.
I’d hate it if I’d have like a series of stuff I’m making (as I have done before with my heel week and swimsuit week) where I’d upload a bunch of assets all on the same day.
Let me post as many as I want but only put 1 or 2 on the front page I think?
(Cause I make a new asset every single week and if I’d need to move stuff over it could take me more weeks to move it over rather than not yk?)

Perhaps also including an option when you first add an item to be “Do not mark this as a new release” (or more accurately, “prioritize my other releases”)?
