Hey hey - time for a quick update --
🎁 Gifting
You can now gift items directly on Jinxxy!
When checking out, you can select any Jinxxy user by their username and include a personal message.
The recipient will receive an email notification with your message and a link to accept the gift.
You can check any pending gifts you may have on your inventory page.
If there are any checkout questions on the gift, the gift recipient will be prompted to enter them before they can accept the gift.
Gifts once accepted, they’ll appear right in the recipient’s inventory. A license key will also be generated at this time for the gift item.
📧 Seller Emails
Seller notification emails have been reworked.
They now handle multiple items per order much more clearly.
Financials are shown in a cleaner breakdown, so you can see earnings, fees, and splits at a glance.
💸 Refund Logic
The refund system is being rebuilt to handle the new way our order logic works.
This ensures more consistent handling of refunds and ties directly into our updated orders financial logic.
Seller facing refunds are temporarily paused while we finish this.
🔜 Next Up
We’re working on the new Orders page in the creator dashboard, giving it the same improvements as seller emails - clearer breakdowns for multi-item orders and the return of refunds with the updated logic.

Dashboard & Creator Tools
- [Dashboard does not update Discount Code uses after order]- Usage count for discount codes now updates in real-time.
- Fixed discount revenue and use count display in dashboard.
- Fixed pagination issues on the creator dashboard’s orders page.
- Fixed image rendering in promotions table and inline listings.
- Fixed layout bugs in the store selector and homepage grid on mobile.
- Fixed wishlist page crashing when no wishlist exists.
- Removed duplicate user cards in product listings hover.

Checkout & PayPal
- [I can’t pay with PayPal since the update]- PayPal flow now works again, when using discount codes.
- Added general error handling and improved render logic for PayPal buttons - they are still a little wonky but that's not on our end.
- Disabled refunds temporarily for internal review. Creators can open a support ticket to request refunds. Make sure to include your support pin and the product and order number and reason for the refund.
- The amount of billing information collected has been cutdown.
- No billing info required for free items.
Profiles, Marketplace, & Product Listings
- [Half screen profile view covers the product]- Layout now adapts properly for smaller screens.
- [Clicking on customer's avatar links to dashboard instead of customer]- Customer avatars link to the correct page outside the creator dashboard.
- Fixed featured section product carousel margins causing offset images on some layouts.
- Fixed broken product view and store page view events.
- Added missing click tracking for product listings on some pages.

🧠 Creator & Developer Improvements
Creator API Updates
- We made changes to how the sorting logic works, please see the docs.
- Sorting restricted to one field.
- Webhooks for on Order Create have been adjusted since now you are only able to see your parts of the order. The following fields have been removed:
- platform_fee
- payout_total
- order_total
- tax_total
The new fields are:
- seller_total
- seller_payout_total
- seller_platform_fee
- seller_subtotal
- We now have stricter input validation and better error messages.

These updates don’t change the spirit of how we do things - they just do a better job of explaining how things work as a creator or customer, and formalize the experience when you use our platform.

This week was a major site launch so most of the changes can be found here: New Jinxxy Live!
But as with any launch there are post launch fixes that take place. Some of these changes were also being held back until the site went fully live otherwise they would break the old site. (Wooo live services :D)

- Profile can now be saved with null or blank fields
- Fixed an issue where users with weird characters in their name or bio could not login.

- Adjusted tags + categories under the bottoms category
- Discounts now show properly in the cart
- Currency input now works correctly when typing in the marketplace filter
- Disabled special tags (for now... we'll reintroduce these later)
- Don’t allow silly product URLs - if your Jinxxy product link is broken update it in the Creator Dashboard

Hey everyone - it's finally here.
After months of work behind the scenes, we're officially launching the new version of the Jinxxy platform.
This is a total rebuild of how the site works, looks, and feels. From checkout to profiles to product discovery, nearly everything has been rethought and rebuilt to make the experience better for both creators and customers.

🛒 New Checkout & Cart
The checkout flow has been completely redesigned:
- You can now add multiple items to a cartand purchase them together.
- You will soonbe able toGift productsto others by username, with a personalized message. I'm delaying this until we verify that everything is currently working fine - since we already have a ton of changes coming.
- Account login & email verificationare now required to reduce errors and improve order handling. A lot of users Users will be brought back to their same cart after logging in.
- Pay what you want (PWYW) has been revamped to be easier for customers to use and give customers incentives to use (more in the next section).
- A small fixed processing fee(0.30 USD) has be added per checkout. This is paid by the customer. This isn't the platform fee-it helps cover new tax compliance costs and payment provider overhead as we grow, which will charge us per completed transaction.

💎 Loyalty Points & Rewards
We've started introducing Loyalty Points (LP) that customers can earn from creator stores.
- Customers earn LP for every dollar they spend on a creators store.
- When customers use "Pay what you want" to give more to the creator they get bonus LP.
- We've just started putting the basics of this system in but soon you will be able to give customers items, products, or discounts in exchange for LP.

🧾 Tax Compliance & Payment Providers
As Jinxxy grows globally, we’re required to collect sales tax/VAT in more regions. To stay compliant, we’ve partnered with a new provider to automatically handle all tax filings and paperwork.
Creators will not have to change anything they are currently doing. This means more transactions will now include taxes, depending on where you’re buying from. Starting sometime in the next 2 weeks.

🎁 Profiles, Wishlists & Lists
- Profiles now have customizable featured sections. By default for Jinxxy creators it will show the latest products you have. You can customize it by clicking the Edit Featured button on your profile.
- Add products to your wishlist, visible on your homepage and profile.
- New product listsare easier to make, manage, and share-perfect for showcasing favorites or collections.

The inventory and order pages have been reworked and improved. It’s all in one place, way easier to use.

- Timeline posts are cleaner and easier to use
- Posts open into threads for sharing and replies
- You can click images to expand them
- There's a new quick spotlight section that will take random items from supporters and display them site wide for about 5 mins at a time.
- We're aiming to improve this system for the public feed and timeline as a place you can showcase your work and provide updates outside of your current platforms and Discord server - to improve discoverability - this is just the start.

📣 What’s Next?
It has been very difficult updating our backend systems while thousands of people were still using our very very old site, but this new site gives us the framework to move onto better things.
There's still a lot of cleanup to do but we're also happy to be able to start pushing out new features like:
- A full review system,
- Global creator codes, affiliates, and deeper community discovery tools.
